No. I bought a chromebook and went to install it and its not even compatible! So why wouldn't they offer software that was compatible with device instead! UNBELIEVABLE!

You can use your Trend Micro subscription on other computers (Windows or Mac), smartphones, and tablets.

However, Google states that Chromebooks (from any manufacturer) do not allow or need antivirus software. Chromebooks have their own constantly updated security software built-in. Trend Micro recomends it for Chromebooks (supporting Android, PCs and Macs) but it does not actually use most of the Trend Micro features. Mainly it warns if you try to access dangerous websites (a browser add-on). It doesn't scan for malware. Don't forget to cancel the automatic renewal before the free offer expires if you are not using it.

I got a free trail offer as well and I can only say that try it..., you might like it if it's compatible. It should say so though if you have a compatible operating system.

It tells you the date of expiration right in the installed software so renewing it should be easy. I, too, got it with my PC and really like it. Much better than Kaspersky, in my opinion. I haven't had to renew yet but intend to do so when my free trial is over
