No. I bought a chromebook and went to install it and its not even compatible! So why wouldn't they offer software that was compatible with device instead! UNBELIEVABLE!

Trend Mirco Internet Security cannot be used on a Chromebook because Chromebooks do not allow applications to be installed, only browser extensions. You can use your Trend Micro subscription on other computers (Windows or Mac), smartphones, and tablets.

BB offers some kind of antivirus with every laptop they sell. However, Google states that Chromebooks (from any manufacturer) do not allow or need antivirus software. Chromebooks have their own constantly updated security software built-in. Trend Micro recomends it for Chromebooks (supporting Android, PCs and Macs) but it does not actually use most of the Trend Micro features. Mainly it warns if you try to access dangerous websites (a browser add-on). It doesn't scan for malware. Don't forget to cancel the automatic renewal before the free offer expires if you are not using it.

I have no idea because I purchased a dell laptop which it seems to work okay so far. I got a free trail offer as well and I can only say that try it..., you might like it if it's compatible. It should say so though if you have a compatible operating system.

It sure should work if it came with the Chomebook you purchased. It tells you the date of expiration right in the installed software so renewing it should be easy. I, too, got it with my PC and really like it. Much better than Kaspersky, in my opinion. I haven't had to renew yet but intend to do so when my free trial is over
