Same thing happened to me, in this case you probably have a preinstalled Mccaffe antivirus, so is your choice to keep it or delete it and install the Trend software.

There are conflicts between having multiple virus protection software on any computer, installed or not. Simply follow the directions to uninstall Mcafee and Trend Micro will function in the manner it should.
