• each state charges a different price to electronically file, some don't for ex NY is free, in the past I paid 24.99 for AZ

• Yes. You will be able to electronically file both your Federal and State returns. Please note, while TurboTax Deluxe 2022 Federal + E-file and State will include the State download to prepare your State return, e-filing your State is a separate charge. You can choose to print and mail it if you'd like to avoid that.

• Yes. You can file the returns separately or at the same time. You have to pay extra to file a state return but the state form is free.

• Yes you can download and efile one state return, however there's a small fee to efile the state return, as I recall from previous years.
