A:Answerdo not keep your taxes on your PC. if you get hacked they would have ALL your finicancial information. i keep all my tax info on a thumb drive (2 actually) in both a .tax file version and a .pdf so i can open the file to read it without reloading the software again. i keep both thumb drives in a safe that is fire and water rated. every year when i do my taxes i put in the thumb drive and install the new software and when it asks to import last years data i point it to the thumb drive. when it asks to save the file i point it to the thumb drive. very easy.
