Gifting property is not an income item, so won’t appear on her return or your income tax return. You will need irs form 709, which is available at irs.gov. They have a “fillable” form, so it can be completed on your computer, then printed for signature. And of course, one is only necessary if you gift more than $15,000 to one individual (or, if married and your spouse joins in the gift, more then $30,000)
