Q: QuestionI understand that Turbo Tax 2021 can be used to file up to 5 federal tax returns. However, do all 5 tax returns have to be on the same computer or same household, or can the cd be mailed to someone else to use on their own computer for a 2nd return?

• A:Answer Up to five can be e-filed on all TurboTax products. Additional returns must be printed and mailed. You can also use TurboTax Online or the mobile app to prepare multiple returns, but each return requires its own unique login and must be paid for separately (if the return doesn't qualify for Free Edition).

• A:Answer Free filing-YES, tax prep-NO! There is no limit to how many people can use the software for tax preparation, but only 5 Federal filing fees are free. ALL State electronic filing fees are extra. Only ONE State software download is included. If you want FREE FILING for more than 5 people, you might consider purchasing more than one TuboTax.

• A:Answer Yes. A slight mix conception because we usually only use that software in 2022. The software that you purchase for your 2021 taxes is clearly labeled "2021."
