• Nintendo didn’t develop the game, so you’ll be paying Best Buy then Nightdive Studios, who developed this remaster, will get cut of the money. You’re not buying another copy of the original Nintendo 64 game, you are buying a remastered/updated version of the game that features better graphics and way better controls. Which took a lot of time and money to get it working on the Nintendo Switch. You you spend 50+ hour work weeks, pay for the needed hardware, and pay for electricity and people to help you, then turn around and give your updated product away for free? Probably not, yes you have to buy it again.
