• Are you talking about while using Xbox? Or just tv audio? If xbox, it connects to headset only. If tv, it's Not the best choice

• I think so it's only wired from the headset to controller.

• I strictly play the sound through my headset. The headset only plugs into the Xbox controller. And does not plug into TV at all.
