This headset is definitely the premium choice. It has memory foam like ear cushions covered in pleather. Sturdy construction and a nice headband. The sound is incredible when gaming and even when using the in-line mic cable on the go for music. My only complaint might be biased because of the size of my dome, but I unfortunately have to wear a beanie so that my head doesn't hurt after playing a couple of hours. But overall a awesome headset!

I use this headset for everything. It's so comfortable I never take it off. Good for gaming on the Xbox or on my phone. Mic and speakers sound great.

The headset sounds great, everything is crisp and clear. But about 3 months after purchasing a small piece popped of where the ear piece meets the head band, I didn't think much of it at first. A week or so later the same piece popped off on the other side. Now it appears that these pieces were for structural integrity as both sides are now cracked and the ear pieces no longer sit over my ears like they are supposed to.

The XOSeven's are easy to set up. I can game for hours due to the super comfortable design. Love the look and the braided cables! Works for both Xbox One and PS4.

This is my first headset. I really like the sound. Used chat feature for Destiny and it works great. It's comfortable on my head and ears. I haven't felt the need to use the superhuman setting so far, which is good because there's virtually no bass on that setting. It's also good because the normal setting does the job. Have had these for a few months now. Works great with my other devices as well. Now I wish they made a cheap a DTS 7.1 set like they have for PS4.

    Not the best

I'll start off by saying the overall design of the headset is very good. It is very durable. The cables that go from the headset to the controller or headset to another device are made with very nice material (not sure of the name). The mic is well designed so that it won't fall apart on its own. You'd really have to mess with this headset for it to break in any way. The quality of the headset performance is where I have some issues. I don't know about others who have worn these but for me they hurt my ears. They push on my ears too much. As for the audio, the sound is very good but there's one problem. If you are like me and rely on sound to be competitive in games like Call of Duty then you shouldn't use these. It's not a surround sound headset so you can't really hear what's going on in every direction. Instead the sounds get rather confusing so I can't tell if someone is to the right, left, back or whatever. I've used other headsets and never had this problem before. Overall, I'll say if you're serious about using sound to get the jump on your enemies then don't buy these. Otherwise they are good quality.

I was back and forth on this headset or the model below it and i am very happy that i spent the extra money. Sound is great and they are very comfortable. I was very on edge about it charging through the controller. I thought it would kill the battery way too fast. That is not the case. Great product.

    A Quality Headset

I'm new to gaming headsets, but am an audiophile and tech enthusiast. I decided I wanted to get a headset for my Xbox one. After doing research, I first bought a pair of the Polk 4 Shots because I have a Polk soundbar for my house and the quality and sound is really great. They were more comfortable, way better looking and sounded really great. The main problem though was the mic quality. It was absolutely horrible. Polk says that is a software issue and not hardware, but I'm taking the more wait and see approach. So while I still have a few more weeks before I have to take them back, I decided to try a pair of the Turtle Beach XO Sevens in the meantime and put them up to each other side by side and let myself be the judge. I will say that I think the XO Sevens feel cheaper and look like some ugly original Xbox accessory with all of the lime green and bulkiness. I'm not a fan of that at all, I'd much have them all black (there's no way you're going to want to wear these in public for an ipod/phone). But with that said, they sound very good, very comparable to the Polks. I give the Polks a slight lead, but it is very minuscule. They fit my large head (I wear about a 7 5/8 - 8) and pretty comfortable. I still would give Polk another slight slight lead in comfort. A little larger than the sound quality. The Polks are really comfortable and feel natural wearing for long amounts of time. The XO Sevens can get a little uncomfortable for 4-5+ hours at a time. The build quality on the Polks feel better. They feel stronger (made out of aluminum) and swivel easily. The XO Sevens are a little stiff and squeak when you move your head around (which my friends noticed and said it sounded like I was moving around on a squeaky bed). The design is better for the Polk 4 Shots, but it isn't a huge deal. Where the XO Sevens completely blow away the Polk 4 Shots is with mic quality and volume. My friend said I sounded like I was across the room with the 4 Shots. With the XO Sevens, I was completely clear. The difference was night and day. Also, with the Polks, I had to keep the volume at max for it be just enough. No issue with XO Sevens. I keep them about halfway at most times. As of now I'm leaning more toward keeping the XO Sevens because they do what a gaming headset is supposed to do. Give you quality audio with a clear mic. They may not be the sexy set, but they are the ones that have come out of the gate getting the job done. If Polk doesn't release a patch that significantly upgrades the mic experience, I will be keeping the Turtle Beaches as I've been using them for the last week and haven't had any huge issues with them. I wish I could get the best of both worlds with different aspects of the Polk and Turtle Beach headsets. Unfortunately, there is not "the perfect one" between the two. But as of now, with the Polk microphone practically non existent and no certain timetable for a patch, the Turtle Beach XO Seven's are definitely the headset to get for those that don't want a hassle.

Great headset for XBOXONE finally. Surround sound glory for those that have been patiently waiting. Comfortable to wear and easy to use and set up. Do not need endless supply of batteries thanks to it running off your controller battery. It is wireless from the console but is wired to your controller which is sometimes not convenient. You can also use it for all your devices with a line in jack. Great plus. Sound could be better but good value for the price. Clear chat and convenient volume control. Mic is so good friends will complain they can hear you breathing if too close to your mouth and nose. All around good value.

This head set is very loud compared to other headsets powered off of the controller. I'm not able to turn it all the way up without it being too loud . My last headset was max volume all the time with a lot to be desired. The super human hearing is ok but not that great. It seems to just make everything sound more gainy. My friends say the mic is very clear but it picks up a lot of surrounding noise too. I've messed with the settings but they can still hear my wife in the background sometimes. My only problem with this head set is that it sometimes randomly turns off and then back on. It also turns off when I plug in a charge and play so I have to turn my controller off and then back on. This may be a defect or it may be something else but I just deal with it. All in all a great set for the price.

These headphones exceeded my expectations! Honestly I've had Turtle Beaches before and they snap-crackled-popped, so I was hesitant in buying these. The reviews on Amazon convinced me that maybe they were worth giving a try. For the price and excellent reviews I finally purchased them! So far, they have not disappointed me! Sound-(excellent) Quality- (excellent) Ease of use (excellent) the only thing that I can sorta complain about is that they're a little heavy- this is expected Im sure because of the quality material used in the more advanced, expensive headsets! P.S. If you go in to Best Buy they will match price with Amazon so long as the items you are purchasing are sold by them!! The clerk that match priced my set found a better deal then what I had showed him off my cell phone, so I got a great deal!!

It is a good headset for the price. It took a couple of weeks to break them in, but after 2 weeks or so, they fit pretty comfortable. I love these for gaming, and I can hear things really well.

I had issues with my adapter that plugs into my controller cutting out the audio. Do NOT listen to the insert from Turtle Beach about not taking your item back to the store. I didn't bring them back to the for for a replacement and followed their warranty instructions. Now I have to package my adaptor and fedex to them, prepaid, but I will be without my Turtles for 10-14 business days. That's the only negative thing I can say about them. They sound great, are comfortable durning long sessions of gaming! I would highly recommend them. But if you do have any issues with them take them back to Best Buy before their return policy time runs out. I wish I did!

The headphone are great, I play a lot of FPS and they have made a huge impact in being able to hear footsteps etc. The sound in general is also better compared to through a TV or even through a surround sound. For the price, I think these headphones are great and absolutely worth it. My only real complaint is the size of the headphones.. I have a pretty normal size head/ears but if I wear them for any prolonged amount of time (>2 hours, clan ward in CoD, etc) they can start to get uncomfortable and my ears get sore, its like they are just a little too small in diameter. That's the only reason I wont give them a 5 star.

Ive tried a couple different headsets. The afterglows which sucked, the turtle beach xo four which were ok but didnt really wow me, then the polk audio striker pro. The polks were awesome. They just didnt go loud enough. So i got the tutle beach xo7 pro and there the ones i stuck with. There comfortable, have good sound quality, and the different eq modes is what really decided it for me. If i could go back tho ide prob stick with the polks. They came with different attachments to use on xbox one or ps4 or the computer. The sound quality was a bit better in my opinion it just wasnt loud enough.

Short review.... the headset worked great sound quality was on point. So was the moc never had any complaints abiut being to loud or to quiet....6 months go by and one speaker went out. Super scratchy.. i would understand if the speaker blew if i was playing with headset full blast but the headset never went thay loud.. never had a reason to put the volume to max. I never even went close to volume being max. Gonna invest in some astros since ive been told people have had them for years with no problem. I paid good money for something that lasted 6 months. Posted a pic to show i do in fact have these and purchased them.

Looked at many reviews on these. I went back and forth on which ones to get. Was decided on either astro or these. I chose the seven pro because of the xbox one adapter. It has bass boost, treble and bass boost. Also superhuman (which i never use). But has great sound and are extremely comfortable. Would have have 5 but have had only a month and it is making a plastic creeky noise. (Fixed with wd40) also one night the sound muffled but did clear up later on. Overall very happy.
