• never lights up on mine either, don't think it's meant to. the little dot light bellow it i guess indicates that it's connected and has power. my guess is it's designed that way to better high lite the sliders and other buttons above...

• I use PC and have never seen it light up. Looking closely, I don't believe it is designed to.
