“Is any kind of additional adapter needed to use the wireless headset or is it really as it says and connects to the console? I have read several different reviews on "wireless" headsets and none give a straight answer.”

• The original Stealth 600 GEN 2 for Xbox and Xbox Series X|S uses Xbox Wireless to pair directly to the Xbox consoles without the need for any sort of transmitter or adapter. An extra adapter from Microsoft would be required if you choose to use the headset on a Windows PC. That adapter is known as the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10.
