“I don't understand why there is a model without Xbox capability? I've seen several people ask this question but Turtle Beach will not directly answer this question. Why have two when the multiplatform works for everything?”

As there are ton of gamers out there with the PlayStation (4 or 5) consoles who do not have an Xbox of any sort and therefore do not require any sort of Xbox connectivity; we have released the Stealth 700 GEN 2 MAX for PS and Stealth 600 GEN 2 MAX for PS. There is also the Stealth 600 GEN 2 USB for PlayStation. All of the headsets mentioned above can be used on a PlayStation, PC, or docked Nintendo Switch. For gamers that have access to an Xbox (Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S) OR for gamers who have access to BOTH of a PlayStation (4 or 5) and an Xbox (Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S); we've released the Stealth 700 GEN 2 MAX for Xbox and the Stealth 600 GEN 2 MAX for Xbox. Both of those headsets can be used on an Xbox, a PlayStation, a PC, or docked Nintendo Switch.
