• Yes, this headset is compatible with Xbox Sonic Surround & Dolby Atmos (if you pay their subscription fee).

• I don't think so. When I set them up on my Xbox One X, the setting for these to work is Windows Sonic for Headphones. I have a Dolby Atmos license for another set but I can't select it with these because it says my license does not support these headphones. That being said, they sound great using Windows Sonic. Hope that helps.
