Been using this headset for a month or so now with my Series X for Destiny 2 exclusively. I also have a Steel Series Arctis 7x for comparison. The firmware on the Turtle Beach is the most current available. The sound on the TB is much louder than the Arctis 7x for starters and my clan mates have commented the mic is clearer on the TB as well. Battery life has been great (on both headsets). I find the Steel Series to be slightly more comfortable and lighter than the Turtle Beach though. I’ve tried connecting to my iPhone’s Bluetooth and - while it works - all heck breaks loose when I get a call while playing. The Bluetooth volume is crazy loud and I can’t get it to switch back to the game after a call - so I disabled the Bluetooth. I prefer the flip up to mute function on the Turtle Beach mic to the Steel Series mute button. The only drawback I’ve found with the Turtle Beach over the Steel Series is I get terrible interference from our cordless landline phones and mesh WiFi pod (I don’t get it while using the Steel Series). It was so bad I had to move the phone and pod to a different location in order to use the Turtle Beach’s. Overall I’m very happy with them though and would recommend them.

Better than Gen 1

I absolutely LOVE the Gen 2 headset, with the cooling pads and the metal band, it actually feels like your getting a premium item unlike Gen 1. It does take a bit to get used to the new drivers that create the sound. Just like Gen 1, these headphone do have same problem of the sound randomly cutting really fast, but I just reconnect them to my xbox and problem fixed. The Wireless Range is improved too, Gen 1 would cut the connection when I would walk into my kitchen or bathroom, but now I can go anywhere in my house with these on and the connection stays strong. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who loved the original ones and for those looking to get a good first headset.

I did a lot of YouTube searching for reviews for headsets as I joined a guild online and found I needed to be able to communicate in parties. One of the things I noticed was when I listened to people, they all sounded different, picked up different sounds around them, and other little nagging items that I made sure to look for when I was searching. I think the microphone was one of the biggest factors in my decision.
When listening to reviews, and they were doing microphone tests, one thing that was consistent was the microphone quality on the Turtle Beach line of headsets. So I narrowed it down to Logitech out of sheer brand loyalty and the 700 Gen 2's. Let me tell you without a doubt that the microphone was the game changer between the two. So crisp and clear.
To test it out, I paired it to my Galaxy S21 Ultra and made some calls. No one knew I was on a headset and they were clean, clear sounding, and comfortable, even with eye glasses. I think I made a pretty good choice.
Why didn't I give it 5 stars? Well, I have noticed some brief disconnects sitting just 10 feet away from the tv/console. Not a deal breaker, but still a concern. Also, the desktop app doesn't allow you to tweak some of the more advanced settings like the phone app. That's a little annoying as the only reason to connect to the computer is a firmware update apparently. Make the desktop app more useful.
I'm sure there's more. I've already used them for gaming for 3 days at 3-5 hour sessions each time. No discomfort. I even kept them on afterwards to watch some television as they sounded better than my speakers on the tv.
For the price and features, these are winners in my book.

I previously owned a pair of wireless astro a20's which worked fine for the most part, they just weren't comfortable enough for long term use and had constant connection issues. These however with the large cooling memory foam ear cushions and a nice plush headband have been beyond comfortable for me, and they haven't had any connection issues at all you just power them up and boom they connect automatically to your console. Another great feature is that they also support Bluetooth meaning you can listen to music or be on discord with friends all while still being able to hear your in game volume. The app that turtle beach offers is also super customizable to your needs, whether you want to pick what the two volume dials control, to button mapping for "super human hearing " mode(which just feels like you turned all the bass off) and what percentage you'd like to have that capability in effect to. Finally we get to the best part of the headphones to me which is the battery life, it feels like after a few hours daily of gaming these bad boys only have to be charged once or twice a week and they charge up pretty fast too.

This is by far the most comfortable headset I’ve ever had. Great features! Amazing quality! The only and I mean literally the only downside is an occasional cutout/static burst. It’s honestly not that bad but it’s a tad irritating when it happens. Otherwise 5 stars!!

Going from Elite 800x to Stealth 700 Gen 2

So far so good, I've had my Elite 800x headphones for quite a few years now over time they got a bit worse so I decided to find another headset... the problem, NO ONE does Game audio AND Bluetooth audio like Turtle Beach (at this time). I tried a number of headsets without luck for various reasons.
When I saw the Stealth 700 Gen 2 headset was coming out I figured I'd give it a try. Setup was a breeze for Xbox and Pairing the Bluetooth to my computer. My biggest test was the Dolby Atmos for Headphones which does work; I haven't fully tested enough to know it works to the fullest but it does sound pretty great. While gaming I have a tendency to watch TV Shows or Ball games (various) on another screen which is why I rely on Bluetooth so much, last night proved it would work, it sounds good and I can hear both audio streams well enough to game and communicate with my team efficiently. Unless performance changes or audio clarity changes I'm happy about this purchase.
The only downside to them is they turn off when the Xbox turns off. I'm sure it might just be a setting on either the console or something I can take care of in the app, but I can live with it if it's not something I can change.

I bought this headset to use for the new Xbox series X. However I’ve also been using his headset while working from home. The audio quality is fantastic I love the ability to have my phone paired via Bluetooth. It makes it really easy to switch from zoom conferences on my Alienware laptop, to answering a call on my iPhone. I will say that if you are going to use this with your laptop or computer make sure that you have windows 10 installed in by the Xbox wireless adapter, this will help minimize connectivity issues. All in all a great product

The headset is amazing and comfortable, and the mic is clear and uses noise gate tech to give the ultimate clarity. My only complaint is that it occasionally bugs out and the light stays on, but they are unresponsive, but this can be easily fixed by pressing and holding the Mode and Bluetooth buttons until it forces a shut-off, so overall 4 stars.
I love that I can connect them to my phone and my xbox at the same time, and control the audios seperately.

Hello Nova,
We’re sorry to hear about your experience. If your headset becomes unresponsive again, please be sure to follow the steps below:
Press and hold down the Bluetooth Pairing Button + Mode Button on your headset for 20 seconds. This is a very long press, please make sure that you do not release it early, holding it down too long is better than too short.
This should hard reset the headset and may clear up what you are experiencing.
If you continue to have the same experience; please know that we’re always happy to help, and we can be reached right from the support section of the Turtle Beach website as needed.
Thanks!

Love Turtle Beach headsets for a while now. Sound quality is good, headset is very comfortable head and ear cushions. The Bluetooth connection to my cell is great, when using this feature the headset mutes the Chat while playing and let's you talk on the phone, once you hangup your back to Chat. My only issue is the noise cancellation feature is not great, my first Gen 700 is better.

Great sound, great for, ok price for what you’re getting. These are much better than the 600’s they replace. There are some unexpected disconnects but not nearly as many as the 600’s. One complaint and it’s a Best Buy thing and not a headphone thing is the coverage for these was $88. Way more expensive than typical but it is what it is.

Very comfortable headphones. They connect very easily to your device and they connect to your phone through Bluetooth so you can hear your phone and your console. Very glasses friendly. Very long battery life. You can also adjust party volume and game volume separately so you can have your friends be louder than your game.

Excellent sound quality and comfort if you wear glasses. Poorly built and broke because of the plastic the manufacturer builds it with. The noise cancellation is also pretty much non existent for those sitting next to you so my wife and son can here xbox immaturity at its finest.

These are great headphones. I upgraded from the stealth 600 to these. It was worth it. Better sound, more comfortable, very sturdy. I haven’t had any connection issues. They worked out of the box and continue to do so. You won’t be disappointed with these headphones.

This headset had potential to be the best headset for $150 but it came up short. I started having connectivity issues after only about 1 month just like many other users, the material feels good enough but at $150 the mic functionality could be better (the mic as well feels too flimsy like you could break it just by mutting yourself). Hopefully turtle beach fixes this issue in the near future! Plus the packaging and unboxing experience was disappointing since the left ear cushion came already detach, at least it wasn't broken.

I love the convenience that I can link my phone and my Xbox too the headset. But once someone calls my phone, my gamer friends can not hear me.
I wish that I was able to make that selection myself. If you have a lot of hair or a huge head, then you will crack the ear muffs of the headset, so getting the warranty is advised. I usually get the warranty, but this last time I was not able to get a warranty, so I have to settle for this broke headset till I get a new one with a warranty.
But other than that I love them, I can hear everything.
Using the turtle Beach app helps as well

Bought this nearly a month ago and is overall really good. But one thing I might keep in mind is the connectivity. It might be because I have a first gen Xbox One. But times I get connectivity issues where the audio cuts out but I’m able to use the mic. I’m getting a series S soon and hopefully the issue cuts out!
