“Does it need an optical cable? How good is the in game chat?”

• It comes with a cable to plug into the optical in the back of your ps4, but I think it depends on the ps4 you're using, slim vs pro etc. As far as the chat goes, I haven't had any issues, Sound has been great each time I've used them.

• It needs the optical cable so that you can separate the Game sound and voice chat. The microphone quality is very good. If you yell, it will not screech like some cheaper headsets do.
