“My headset will not allow me to use the microphone no matter what ive tried. Currently connected to the xbox dongle on my PC. It shows my mic is fluctuating but no sound actually comes out in the chat. I used this same headset for xbox one and it works.”

This headset does not comes with a dongle, it allows you to connect to your Xbox the same way you connect your game controller by syncing to the console, and the Bluetooth can be use to connect to your PC or smartphone, also get the APP for your phone it makes it easy to access the settings; hope this help you out
