Customers appreciate the superb sound quality and comfortable design of the Stealth 700 Wireless Surround Sound Gaming Headset. Many also praise its wireless functionality and generally good battery life, while some find the price reasonable for the features offered. However, a recurring concern involves inconsistent connection stability and lower-than-desired maximum volume levels.

I’m a fan of Turtle Beach. They make great products. The Hub app for this headset is clutch. Must have. You need it to fine tune some of the settings. Noise cancellation is outstanding. I can barely hear anything around me in the room. And you are able to turn this feature on/off. I was able to pair the headset with my phone, Xbox One and computer all at the same time. Comfort is good. But it can get a bit tight on top of your head at times. I move it around to find a new spot here and there. Downside...the plastic of the adjustable headband it rigid. I wish it was a bit more flexible. My last set of Turtle Beach headsets broke in that area. I’d like to see this product line move to a more flexible rubber for the headband. Gamers are tough on their gear.

    Great for reducing Mom/Spouse-Aggro

Speaking from the point-of-view of said mom/spouse! I work at my computer which happens to be within swinging distance of the TV and gaming system. Best Buy offered for me to test out the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 for Xbox One and I couldn't say yes fast enough. With a spouse and a daughter who are obsessed with Overwatch, I regularly have to ask them to turn down the volume while I'm working (or trying to think straight). The Stealth 700 for Xbox One not only provides the gamer with incredible surround sound (you can hear the directional footsteps of opponents as well as sounds nearby - or faint in the distance. In addition, this headset features Active Noise Cancellation thus blocking outside distractions. The audio controls are customizable and the mic turns off when flipped away from the mouth, something not standard in all headsets! (That's a big deal when you're trying to multi-task playing the game and mitigating roommates/family conversations.) As a bonus, it fits comfortably over glasses! It's a high-quality headset with multiple features and is comfortable for extended wear... and perfect for minimizing mom/spouse aggro.

Despite the negative reviews I’ve seen on this site, I decided to take a chance on these and I’m so glad I did! I have had none of the problems listed by others and the sound is great! The headset work with Bluetooth and wireless hooked to my Xbox with with no issues. They feel great on! The microphone is on the left side which is backwards to what I normally use. Turtle Beach has never let me down, I hope you feel inspired to give these a try!

Comfortability/Speaker/Volume: I bought this to replace my old plug in T.B. EarForce headset. These are quite comfortable to wear, even while wearing glasses for hours at a time. I only started to feel some soreness after 5-6 hours of constant usage. You can connect the head set to your phone via bluetooth and play on the xbox simultaneously. I can hear my notifications in the background while playing on the xbox. I was also able to connect to siri on it by pressing and holding down on the middle button. Physical game and chat volume wheels on the head set only controls the volume if you're connected to the xbox. If you're only connected to your phone, the volume switches don't do anything. The sound input is loud and crisp during games or while watching a movie and music is rich with decent bass if listening to music from your phone. The speakers are well balanced and don't sound like you just blew a speaker with the volume cranked up. The Buttons: The super human hearing setting is awesome when playing a game like COD. You can easily hear and pinpoint enemy steps. I'm not sure what it does when you press the same button when it's only paired to your phone. From what I can tell, it seems like it adjusts the equalizer settings slightly e.g. bass is heavier with it on while treble is higher with it off. I have never understood the point of noise cancelling headphones, which this headset is capable of, as I have never been able to get them to work. When the noise cancelling setting is on, I find it even more distracting as I can hear everything around me including the air blowing from a fan (sounds like someone faintly blowing into a microphone). The buttons are kind of hard to decipher from one another due to the button orientation and button texture. I usually end up pressing buttons a few times until I get it right, usually activating siri by accident which is kind of annoying. Microphone: The microphone seems to work fairly well. I haven't had any complaints from friends not being able to hear me, even when I was in a noisy area. This head set is perfect for conference calls (other than looking extremely ridiculous) as you can flip the mic down to turn it on and flip it back up to turn the mic off. The headset chimes any time any button is pressed or if the mic is turned on/off. You can physically feel a slight 'click' so you know the mic is in the off position. Battery: Battery life is pretty good for the most part. There was only one time the battery drained when I accidentally left it on while paired to my phone. I didn't have the xbox on at the time. If it's only paired to the xbox, the headset should turn off automatically once you turn off the xbox. Charging is pretty slow but I just plug it in for a few hours every now and then and haven't had any issues with the headset dying yet. I'll play anywhere from 1-6 hrs. Ruggedness: I lug my headset and xbox around and don't normally keep it in a safe and secure place. I've accidentally placed heavy books and boxes on top of the headset while it was in a duffle bag and nothing has broke on it. I have two cats and none of them have seemed to have played with it. I've also left in my car for a few days during the Houston summer and it still works fine (easily 120+ F in the car) Final Comments: You get what you pay for quality wise. If you can get over the way it looks, it's very nice versatile headset that's not the best, but by no means terrible either.

This is the most comfortable headset I've ever worn with my glasses. That alone makes me love these. They are light and comfortable and easy to sync up with our Xbox One. Our whole family is able to use these in order to keep game volume from disturbing everyone else in the living room. I love that they are wireless too.

These headphones are awesome that they connect to the Xbox one using their Bluetooth technology. So this is true wireless sound and chat for the Xbox One. I also love that I can connect to other Bluetooth devices such as my cell phone or computer at the same time. so I can be playing a game and get a phone call and be able to take that phone call without taking off my headset. In addition to that this has superhuman hearing which basically lets you have a advantage in multiplayer you'll hear everybody trying to sneak up on you crushing leaves under their feet or footsteps. The fit & feel of the headset is good the ear cups are over the year and comfortable. I just wish the volume will go 20-25% higher.

I’m not an audiophile, but this is the best pair of headphones I have ever owned, for anything, because they can be used for everything. I updated the firmware right away. I have not had any buzzing that others have mentioned and no disconnect issues so far. Pros: Easily connect to Xbox and phone and computer (with Bluetooth for the last 2) Very comfortable, great fit over ears Great sound Ear cups swivel to rest easy around neck Cons: Buttons on side can be tricky to tell apart, takes some getting used to.

Great headset, have been a TB fan for years. I was initially disappointed with their connectivity issues. They have put out multiple updates that totally alleviate this connectivity problem. I really like connecting these directly to the Xbox with not cords or transmitter. Sound quality is good and battery life is close to as stated.

Hello everyone, I purchased this headset at BestBuy for an easier and faster return/exchange if needed, not on amazon, but wanted to leave an honest review here. I was deciding between this Stealth 700, Stealth 600 and Platronics Rig 800LX. Stealth 700 has noise cancelling mic and only 10 hours of continuous play. direct connect to X1 Stealth 800 the only advantage 15 hours of play. direct connect to X1 Rig 800 has 24 hours, noise cancelling, BULKY and NOT a direct connect. At the end i was considering Rig 800 and Stealth 700 due to noise cancelling. The reason why i went with Stealth 700 as first model were: 1) Direct connect to X1 2) NOT as bulky as Rig 800 3) Bluetooth that you can connect to your phone and listen to music or talk. Basically this headset so far (1 day old) is AMAZING! I read and read and read alot of comments and people complaining about how this headset is not comfortable, too quiet or the mic is horrible. Well LUCKILY i experienced NONE of those issues. I did update the headset to the latest firmware BEFORE i even turned them ON! Charged them to full battery and updated right away. Immediately i notice how nice they sound and for people who are saying they are too quiet.. HOW? I mean I'm sure some are getting bad pairs, but how the heck is this headset too quiet when I set my volume probably at 50% and it's LOUD.. Like on full volume it's not exactly comfortable as the sound is just too much, so 50 it is. My only real concern that I have and again this could be purely because the audio in a game is directional is that few times it seemed as left side was slightly louder than right side..most people may not even notice this, but this could be due to what i was doing in the game. When I test some music from my phone the sound was pretty much equal and nothing to complain 1-2% difference could be due to hearing or who knows.. I purchased 2 year replacement warranty for $20 so if they break in a year, who cares I get a new pair. Microphone clarity: I checked with people in the game and asked them to report the audio clarity.. No one complained that they could not hear me. Noise-Cancellation, I have not had a chance to test it. Comfort: Ear cups are soft, foam may have been a little more comfortable, but padded leather will work and is easier to clean so no big deal. Another note to consider is that these are not bulky at all. Build quality: Now this is something i was worried about, because the store model that i held in my hands felt loose and cheap. Which is somewhat to be expected since store display models get abused by 1000 weirdos. When i opened my own set, i was impressed the how everything was tight and just felt good holding in my hands. Conclusion: Give this a try, but make sure to fully charge and update to latest firmware prior to using.

Turtle Beach has been great for me for several years so my personal negative experiences and opinions of this one product won't keep me from buying Turtle Beach products in the future. For several years I've only bought & used Turtle Beach headsets for gaming with PC's, the Xbox 360S, and PlayStation 2. All have been great quality for the price and without one single issue. So naturally I expected the same with the Stealth 700's, but because of the consistent CONs I will not give a 5-star review. PROs: 1. They sound great with movies, music, & most non-FPS games I play. 2. Are extremely comfortable for those of us who wear glasses even several hours. 3. Nice Bluetooth features 4. Easy to use. 5. Have been durable. CONs: 1. The maximum volume is way too low in newer FPS games. 2. Constantly rebooting power due to people in parties getting an uncomfortable static when I'm speaking even when fully charged. 3. Battery usage hasn't met the advertised time, barely giving me 8 hours maximum gameplay after a full charge.

I purchased these for the glasses relief system, however I wear them because they sound great! With the surround sound, I'm able to hear things I did not with my previous pair. And the active noise cancellation, awesome. I find myself taking them off to hear what's going on around me. Four stars because the controls are on the left ear cup. Was use to the right with previous TB pair. I update the firmware after taking out of the box and I have not had any issues. I like them a lot!

I was really looking forward to this headset. I made sure I updated them right when I took them out of the box. But right off the bat, I heard this high pitch noise coming from the left ear cup. It was extremely annoying. Then I started noticing randomly, when I was in a group chat, my headset would go quite for a few seconds and the sound was cutting out when the sound came back. I sit about 4 to 5 feet from my tv in my chair and there is nothing blocking the signal and my router is not even close to this headset. So I had no choice but to take these back. I couldn't deal with those problems regardless of the cost of the headset. So I picked up the Astro A20 call of duty edition and so far they're working perfect with no high pitch sound from any of the ear cups. I gave this headset 3 stars because they're very nice quality and very comfortable. I took off 2 stars for the issues they have. Hopefully turtle beach can fix those issues with software, I just don't think they can fix the high pitch with a software update.

I've used both the 600 and 700 series for turtle beach as well as astro A50's and my current headset is the steel series 9x for the xbox, this headset does the job, but with a few minor issues. sound coming from the headset frequently sound warped, especially when running low on battery, pairing is pretty easy, it's just like a wireless controller and you can have your phone paired to the headset at the same time you're playing games so you don't have to prioritize one over the other, from what I remember there is no button to receive phone calls on the headset itself, but you can manually answer phone calls with a swipe of your phone screen, the mic can be used to talk on the phone and if you're in chat it usually would switch the mic to be able to talk on the phone but I found an issue where sometimes it wouldn't quite work and my party chat could hear my entire side of the conversation. The headset itself is lightweight and comfortable, but the leatherette inserts can get hot and sweaty, which always made me want to look for an alternative for non-leatherette inserts Sound quality is alright, I would expect most people to be able to pick out key sounds in whatever game they want to play with no issues. Mid and treble are good, but the bass is average. mic sound quality is one of the best in my opinion, I like for my headset to not pick up my breathing or any other noises from the background. muting is easy, you just flip the mic up to mute and you get an audible noise for "mute" and "unmute". The package mentioned something about active noise cancelling, but I really couldn't tell the difference, you can still hear noise out so if you're looking for an immersive experience, then you might not get what you're looking for with this headset, but if you've got things to attend to or someone is trying to get your attention while you're gaming, then you'll probably still be able to listen to hear their voice in that situation, unless you have the headset on full blast. The battery life is decent, I think mine would reach about 8 hours, but like I said, the sound would warp for a second or two every so often and would warp more and more as the battery drained, it wasn't too noticeable at first but it definitely bugged me because I have a musician's ear. Overall the headset is decent at best, it gets the job done. I would recommend anyone that has a problem with wires to get this or the 600 series headset for an entry level wireless headset, but if you can fork over more money then I would definitely recommend getting a different wireless headset.

We had a minor problem with a lesser version and opted to upgrade when exchanging to the 700 Stealth. These headphones have been going strong for over a month so far with no problems. They easily connect to our xbox one, and have a bluetooth feature to connect to my phone also. Not fumbling with a cord is so worth it. We used to plug right into the xbox controllers, but those things have pretty unreliable headphone jacks. It was constant problems. The Stealth 700 is comfortable and really block a lot of outside noise too. They sound great, have a really clear and clean connection (game & )chat, and it's super easy to flip the mic up to mute it when you need to. They charge fast and hold a charge pretty much all day even with 3 of us using them off and on (just like an average cell phone). I seriously hesitated to spend over a hundred dollars on headphones thinking, "how great could they be" but I'm really quite impressed with these. I definitely recommend them and now I want another pair that I dont have to share with the kids. I'd actually like to have a pair to wear when mowing the lawn...to blast my music from my phone.

I live in an apartment on the middle floor and have a home theater system. This gaming headset is great for playing games later at night and getting the full sound experience without bothering neighbors. A nice bonus is that it paired easily with my iPhone which makes it easy to take a call from my girlfriend when she calls or even listen to music while I'm mulling around the apartment. The sound is great and the price is reasonable. Would give 5-Stars if they came with a protective case and/or charging stand. As they come, you kind of just leave them laying on a table/shelf when you're not using them.

This headset is getting underrated scores due to timing. I’m a 35 year old gamer and have loved spending extra time playing with friends. Let me point out that I’m in no way into competitive (hardcore/professional) gaming and I can’t speak for PlayStation. It is a new headset and with most new tech, can be upgraded and/or fixed with firmware updates. I’ve searched for a year for a good pair of “cans” and finally settled on this. At first, I thought what most people think, “you get what you pay for” so I bought a pair of elite 800x. Terrible idea!! While there was absolutely nothing wrong with the sound quality (I loved it btw) it was like having a vice grip on your head. Omg was it bad!!! 8 months later and I found out about these. It was love at first play. Granted, I didn’t run into the issues that most had when these were first released, but most if not all of them have been fixed with the updates. Honestly, I don’t need “cans!” I have a wonderful surround sound and I got them just because. Sound is tight and everything about them is nice, even build quality and comfort. Mix these bad boys up with the new sonic “spatial” surround on Xbox and I have to say that it’s 100% worth every penny. I would have probably given this a 4 maybe 4.5, but I firmly believe that they got “choked” by the people that got them early on and didn’t give turtlebeach enough time to recalliberate. It is worth it and will give you the extra edge that your looking for.
