A:AnswerI'm not an expert on this ... but since this product was for my son, I asked him. He said that the pop filter was so that you didn't pick up "white noise" and extra unintended sounds while recording. That is about all I know -- hope this helped.
A:AnswerUSB cable is decent length like 8' or so. For mounting I would get a USB extender even if it's just to wrap and take tension off the machine it is hooked up to. Mic does pretty well for the price.

A:AnswerI am not 100% sure about that but as long as it has a USB port it should be compatible with about anything and you plug your headphones into the bottom of the microphone
A:AnswerIt is just a mic you will still need to have headphones but you can plug in any headphones to the turtle beach then you would simply mute your tv and you would hear everything through your headphones and speak through the Turtle Beach hope this helps.
A:AnswerTBH it's a good for the price and if you have a quite space this is perfect. It does pick up a lot of background noise I must say. I plan on get a boom stick and pop filter to see if the noise goes down... I have used it with the elgato and as long as I'm home alone without a 6 month old bouncing around it's works great! Bang for your buck my next step is a yeti or rode mic. Hope this helps!!!! Check YouTube out as well always do research before buying.
