“The title says "espresso" but the specifications say a black wood grain finish, so is this a dark brown or black console?”

• It is a very dark brown. It's not black but it it's dark enough that it blends in with black furniture. If you're familiar with the espresso color this is it.

• It's not quite black, but it is a little darker than I was expecting. Perhaps "espresso" is a little darker than, say, "chocolate". I have another "espresso" product (Prepac 4-sided dvd tower) currently in transit that I was hoping would match this, so I might have an update in a few days, if I remember. The cabinet to the left is black, the plant vase is brown, and, as you can see, the tv stand is somewhere in between.
