Great TV/home theater stand!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a TV/home theater stand with a darker color that was both sturdy enough to last and inexpensive. This one gets high marks in all areas and seemed to beat the other models available. I've been very happy with it since the moment I brought it home...dimensions were perfect for the space I had available in my built-in cabinet/shelf unit. Assembly was straightforward and quickly done. No problems with durability of door latches, etc to date.

Great cabinet for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Attractive, classy looking cabinet with enclosed glass doors for storage space, however, cabinet is not very high resulting in TV sitting lower, and it does not allow for surge protector to fit beneath the cabinet.

Great console
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a good starter-console. The finish doesn't scratch easily. Took a bit more effort to build than I'd have liked to.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was looking for a certain height and length. Very happy with my decision. Looks awesome and was easy to put together. Very sturdy. Plenty of storage space. Best of all the PRICE! Any were else its $300 to $400 or more....

Nice for the Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Arrived fairly quickly and was well packed, no missing parts. Solid construction (with exception to front trim and edge pieces. Front trim damages easily so keep your children and pets away.) Holds an average Home theater set up including Home Theater AV Receiver, Blu-Ray, Cable Box or AV PC but is a tight fit for all stacked components. Assembly is easy to follow but requires a helper. It is a nice yet affordable addition and would fit in with most decor. The picture does not give it justice, it is nicer than the picture shows.

Nice Console for a midsize TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this off the floor from our local Best Buy, got a great discount. Love the color and the doors with the glass. That way my kids can pick a movie before they open the console door.

Beautiful console
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The console is beautiful and I love the glass doors. The console did need to be assembled. My daughter and myself was able to assemble in about an hour and a half.

Q: QuestionThe title says "espresso" but the specifications say a black wood grain finish, so is this a dark brown or black console?
Asked by JMA.
- A:Answer It is a very dark brown. It's not black but it it's dark enough that it blends in with black furniture. If you're familiar with the espresso color this is it.

Q: QuestionTV MountingCan I mount my TV to this stand? I don't want it free standing or wall mounted. The stand I have, it has a mount that comes off the back of it.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer No, this mount has no way of mounting any TV to it. This will only allow you to set a TV on top of it utilizing the TVs own base.

Q: QuestionWould this support a 56" tv?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes. The screen will be slightly wider than the stand, but only by about an inch. I have a 55" TV on it and it fits great.

Q: QuestionIs this made by Sauder?I understand it is an Insignia brand TV stand, but is it manufactured by Sauder? I've seen almost the same exact TV stand under a Target brand.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer equivalent to if not not better quality than Sauder...I have put together products from both and noticed a slight difference in design.

Q: QuestionIf a TV stand's measurements fit and meets the weight requirements why would it not support a rear projection TV?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer This answer is for future customers since the original question was asked approx 3 1/2 months ago and that person probably isn't looking for an answer anymore! The manufacturer says it can hold 95 pounds. It is 47 1/2" W and at the narrowest area 17" D. If you keep within those boundaries it seems to me it shouldn't matter what is set upon the top of the console. Just don't go over the 95 pounds -and- don't have anything hanging beyond the 17" D. Those are the statistics this console was found to be acceptable for and what the console was designed to accommodate. I'd get an opinion from a carpenter too since they work with wood.
