• A 47 inch was mounted on my stand leaving plenty room on the 1st & 2nd shelf. I currently have my wireless router, dvr, modem & a blue ray player on the 2nd shelf. I also have a vizio soundbar on the 3rd shelf.

• Yes, you can place the stereo system and speakers on the second shelf as long as it will not exceed the 135 pounds weight capacity.
