• Yes however, I would not have this battery nearby water while charging, or take it in the water at all. Great to keep in a bag of supplies in the vehicle, or tent. Will recharge any USB powered devices and accessories. Gear Fit should have a magnetic charging dock that the end is USB-A male.

• Probably would work for you. I use mine in the Alaskan winter (Sub-zero). I have no doubts that it would keep my phone charged for a week under my extreme conditions.
