- Answer I used mine 2 weeks after charging it and it charged my phone really fast. 30% to over 90% in about 30 minutes. I'm sure it could probably go longer.

- Answer Make sure the charger is charged up first. Plug the USB of your charging cord into the charger and the other end into your phone. It should start charging right away.
