Not waterproof but it will keep a light sprinkle off of the important parts if you're walking quickly through a light rain

Protection from a little rain while being carried under your coat, yes. Drop it in the pool, no.

Nope. Open areas on the case and doesn’t enclose the iPad like a waterproof case.

Negative. It only provides protection on the corners, back, and a soft flap cover for the face.

Unfortunately, no. It’s nice, but also doesn’t have a screen protector.
