how many watts is the ue hyperboom null

Hello Dave, the Hyperboom produces on 229 Watts.

It has 229 watts very clear great bass great speaker..

229 Watt at peak...RMS Watt probably 1/3 of that.

No, the Hyperboom certainly does NOT put out 229 watts RMS. First off, 229 watts is probably a total in "music power" which is a totally meaningless spec and it can probably only do that at 1 KHz if at all. Most likely, it can produce between 5 and 10 watts RMS per channel continuous into X ohms (what ever the nominal impedance of the speakers is) from 45 Hz to 20 KHz at what ever the maximum % THD is. I don't know why Ultimate Ears lacks the professionalism to provide a legitimate output wattage. I have a Hyperboom and I'm happy with it, not returning it. So, why not just give a true and accurate spec?

The mega boom 3 outputs 18 W so the Hyperboom must be about 35-40 W max
