• No. Roku is just an additional feature of this TV set that can be utilized when wanted.

• No you don't. If you want to use this as a traditional TV which connects to cable, satellite, or antenna; then you have that option. You also use the USB port on the television to view media such as photos and video.

• No, you can toggle through other inputs. The menu looks app based, and allows you to choose HDMI, etc.
