“How is the sound? I know the thing that seems to be the problem with a lot of flatscreen TVs is the sound is not very good. I have an Insignia now and it sounds great. So, how is the sound on the Roku version? If it is good, than after I get my camera lens, final cut pro and a welder, I will get this baby.”

The sound is excellent as is, not requiring any exterior system to make it good.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The speakers on this 32" Roku Insignia TV are pretty standard in terms of TV speakers in this price and size class. They are significantly lower volume than my other sets I've owned in this size though. They offer more treble than bass despite having EQ options made to try to improve the sound for specific viewing options (Music, Movies, Theater, etc) Out of 5 stars I'd rate the sound 3/5. It's good for watching TV shows or movies with a lot of talking. However, once you get explosions, loud music or a lot of action, sounds tend to be drown out or missed totally on this set. For small rooms it's not an issue, but if you planned on using this for a large room or for viewing movies with a lot of noise, it may not be the best option.
