You are right that the TV remote for the Roku integrated TVs does not have any number buttons. You are able to scroll through the channels normally as well as pull up a channel list to jump to a specific channel.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have time warner cable as well. I had to get a second cable box (which only cost me another $11/month on my cable bill) otherwise you have no real remote control with numbers or a screen menu guide to navigate channels with. Not only that, but it really does enhance the picture quite a bit. I got an even better cable box than what I had in the main room so I put the new box there, moved the old to the bedroom where the new Insignia TV is, and it works great!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most any TV can be used with cable including this one. You just use the remote that comes with your cable company. Example: we have Comcast so we have the normal remote that came for the Tv for Netflix and Amazon etc but for cable we use the Comcast remote that comes with the cable box.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure. I'm connected to cable box using that remote
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have DirecTV so I'm not sure about cable. The remote does not have a number pad though, so I'm not sure how that would work. I love the TV though. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
