• Yes, the TV remote doesn't have channel buttons or any of the controls you'd find for controlling channels (search, favorites, etc). Insignia strictly wants the Roku remote to be used for it's many apps and features on the TV and stresses the use of either universal or set-top remotes for controlling your cable or satellite (which will easily be routed through the TVs smart menu)

• Yes, but this Roku remote is the only remote it comes with, and includes volume and power buttons. It controls the entire TV, not just the Roku functions. VERY convenient and instantly responsive ALL the time.

• No, the TV does not come with a Roku remote it does come with a Insignia factory remote.
