• You don't need Cell service for it You need Wi-Fi to Set it up after that it's just Bluetooth on your phone to Control it..

• These Illumi lights don't record ( they are not camera devices). Their claim to fame is that they can display a range of different colors and brightness through an app on a Smartphone utilizing Bluetooth without a hub. They work nicely once they're setup properly with the latest firmware.
