• The middle shelf is 36 inches wide, with a little more than 5 1/2 inches of clearance. The bottom shelf can take components up to 8 1/2 inches tall, including a full-sized home theater receiver. Between the two of them, I have room for: Home theater receiver PS4 DVR Xbox One BluRay player Wireless rear speaker transmitter for surround sound ...and more space left over. This is a very nice piece of furniture - nothing cheap or chintzy here. If it'll fit all your stuff, it's well worth the money.
