QuestionDimensions of the shelvesHow wide is the middle shelf and what is the height that can fit on the middle and bottom shelves? Trying to figure out what can be fit in this stand.

- Answer The middle shelf is 36 inches wide, with a little more than 5 1/2 inches of clearance. The bottom shelf can take components up to 8 1/2 inches tall, including a full-sized home theater receiver. Between the two of them, I have room for: Home theater receiver PS4 DVR Xbox One BluRay player Wireless rear speaker transmitter for surround sound ...and more space left over. This is a very nice piece of furniture - nothing cheap or chintzy here. If it'll fit all your stuff, it's well worth the money.

- Answer Yes, the assembly is quick with two people. But the glass is thin and fragile so trying with one person may be risky

Questioni want to be able to turn the tv on the stand. will the base that the tv sits on swivel? do I need to be concerned about the tv falling off of the base (kids will be viewing on the tv also).

- Answer I'll see if I can help, even if it looks like you asked this quite some time ago (Best Buy prompted me to answer). The base does NOT swivel. Also, your TV will only fall off of the base if someone runs into the TV quite hard. Think of it as if it were a TV sitting on a flat-topped coffee table. You can certainly knock it off, but not with normal use or bumping.

- Answer Since these TVs are getting much lighter, it would work as long as you keep below the maximum weight rating.
