“Memory card Does this come with a memory card? If so, how much memory does it have and can I buy a larger one. If not, how much are they? Also, how much memory (length of time) is the average memory card and does it loop and copy over previous images. Can you save some footage and record after that? And, maybe finally, can you take the camera off of the windshield and record outside of the vehicle? Oh yeah, one more thing, how long is the cable if it has one? It does come with a 8GB memory card and it is upgrade able to 32BG, you can also set it to loop or turn loop off, if there is an important video or image you want, you can always hit the lock button on the device. And yes you can take it off the windshield. The cable is like 10 feet I would say, I have my camera by my rear view mirror and ran it down my A piller and to my cig lighter

Yes you can take it out side of car the cord is that long. As far as looping I don't know I bought a 32 gig and if it ever gets full I'll down load to a file on my computer.. Hope this helps

When you hook up with computer (with usb cord that come with it) then you choose the file(s) that you want to keep. The cigarette cord is long enough to hook up. And you can take out and use camera records outside it will record about 10 minutes max.
