Please save yourself time and money and don't buy this junk. It works for about a week then crashes. Then you gotta hit reset every 15 to 30 minutes cause it freezes up. I'll never buy another Uniden dashcam again. As you can see it's on my windshield not plugged in because it's trash. Until I get a new one i leave it up so stupid drivers still think I'm recording so they might not try stupid stuff.

Worked well for the first few weeks. Now the screen turns to a "rainbow" effect and "skips".

So if you want something compact that will not obstruct your vision, this is the dash cam for you. Please note that the internal battery is not meant for the unit to run by itself for more than 10 to 15 minutes, it is there to preserve the date, time, and settings. The video quality is very good during daylight hours and acceptable during night time recording. Essentially, what ever is illuminated will be recorded. The video format is easily viewed on basic video players like Windows Media Player etc...I've owned this unit for 2 months and it operates flawlessly and is very easy to use.

It records good video however you need to look close and remove the protective film from the lens. Its very hard to see. It stores the video files in AVI format and the internal storage is terrible. The real downfall is the battery. They don't tell you on the box that it only last 3 minutes. You need to have this plugged in all the time to make it work.

Camera has good quality picture. The only draw back is it doesn't work well in the dark. Like the ease of use. If work good in the dark would give 5 star.

It's ok for what it is for. The Good. The functions are basic easy to use. It does works like it's supposed to. It really tiny to. The Bad. It picture quality is not that good for low light conditions. It's really grainy. Night are hard to see. Good thing I got on sale for like $40. But not worth the original price. Only good for starters into dash cam. Look somewhere else if you're looking good quality video.

This has been a great easy / low cost camera to use. Have not had any problems and takes great videos. Had to play around to get the best setting I wanted, but works great with no problems. Night time videos vary depending on if other lights are around (buildings, streetlight, car lights, etc).

Easy to use, good quality, good price. Quiet, goes on and off without pushing a button, if your power to the aux. outlet works.

I bought this camera to replace a similar-price one that was considerably lower in quality. It has been about 3 weeks that I have been using this camera (much longer than the last one lasted) and no issues so far. Image is clear and the manual is also clear and the functions are well documented and in good English. I am surprised that a camera so small can take such good video and pictures. It is so small and nice that I am thinking about taking it with me on my vacation to take pictures and video. The only think I would add is the possibility to easily mute and unmute the microphone without entering the configuration menus. I have seen this functionality on other dashboard cameras using the config buttons when it is recording. All together, I would buy it again.

I bought it for our car and can be installed very easily. I am using it with no hassle. Fix a memory card and put it in front, makes me feel a little comfortable that at the time of any accident, this will record everything and it does well. The video capture is good. I am planning to buy another one to install it at the back of the car.

I always read product reviews before buying anything. Actually, I base all of my online purchase decision highly on good ratings, usually 4+ stars. This product has great video quality. It's very compact, which I liked very much, but that's as far as I can say is good with it. From the first day, the camera crashed after turning off the car the first time. I will return this product and never look back.

Bought this camera as to record as I'm driving around. Always good to have an unbiased witness. The camera is simple to use. Has several quality levels to record to. The only disadvantage this camera has is the 10-15 minute battery life. I have to keep it plugged into to be able to record for longer drives. If the battery would last an hour or two, I would have given it 5 stars. Plugging it in isn't really that bad for me, but maybe for others, they may not like it. I'd still recommend this to somebody looking for an inexpensive camera.

Good start up camera. Night recording could be better. Camera has good quality picture and ease of use. Would give 5 stars if night pictures were better.

I always felt the need to have a dash cam specially because of the bad drivers I have in my hometown. This product and it's moderate price satisfy my need. Pros: Comes with SD card. Easy to work with. Relatively reasonable price Cons: No night vision. Only shows wherever ther are light such as intersection, headlight, etc

Bought this camera as I am a volunteer EMT and wanted something for when I'm driving with lights and sirens. The camera is small and non obtrusive. The video quality is crystal clear. For the low cost you get a great camera.

Very Easy to use Dashcam Just plug it into your cigarette lighter and it powers up. It can be used as a video recording car alarm and loop record all night if left connected. Invest in a Dashcam. I am buying another one for the rear of my vehicle. They pay for itself when proving car accidents on what really happened.

Camera work great in the day time but the night vision which is listed as one of the features is virtually non existence. I took the first one back to the store thinking it was a bad one, but the second one did the same thing. I called the company and they told me out right that the camera does not have night vision and the LED light on the front of the camera that's supposed to indicate night vision is working, the light itself does not work. I would only recommend this if someone only wanted daytime recording.

It works. The video is good and I use it in case of an accident commuting thru MD, DC, and VA. Battery weak, so have to keep plugged in for power. Worth the cheap price if it lasts a year...

Video quality is pretty good. Nice and small. I don't even know it is there any longer. Unless, of course, I need to save a video. So far, so good.
