• Not designed to run in it own power. Will only last for about 10 minutes. Use the power cord it came with

• It should have a built in battery but after my replacement of this model is failing also and wont stay on, I will never buy this brand again. You are better off with a $25 cheap model that you can at least throw away .

• It does have a battery inside the camera. However, my camera will not hold a charge since the day it was bought.
