It's loud enough in my opinion. Search for videos on YouTube. Buy it and find out for yourself. There is a 15 day return policy if you’re not satisfied. The Uniden R series detectors are the longest range detectors on the market today.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can definitely hear it when playing music.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It’s not the loudest. I wish it could go much louder because on my long drives I like to crank the sound too. It’s a trade off but most others aren’t much louder. You need to be aware and have another car in the distance your going to leapfrog anyway. Being visually aware is part of driving with a radar detector so no sound isn’t that big a deal.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I been using the radar for almost 3 months and it is pretty loud , i have mine set up on level 2 and i listen music pretty loud
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The volume goes really high on this. You will hear it
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The KA alert is pretty loud compared to the laser and K alerts. Still with loud music I’m not sure it would cut through...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is very loud
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can adjust the volume. I keep it 2-3 and I still hear it when listening to music.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Volume is adjustable and very loud on max volume. I have the R3. It is a high pitch sound and the digital display flashes. My r3 is the best radar I have ever owned. @ half the price and twice the performance of the top of the line Escrt. You cannot go wrong. Mine does have gps. This is a steel for $179 I might just buy it for my other car.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the R1/R3 is pretty loud, it has 6 volume levels. I typically keep mine at level 5 and can cruise with loud music (factory radio) and I am still able to hear it. Also, the R1/R3 include different styles for Alert tones. so you may possibly find one that is louder to your liking.
