“Does the R3 have laser detection capabilities? Every once in a blue moon my current detector will alert on laser detection and sure enough there is a traffic officer up the road using a laser speed detection device, it's rare but they do use them.”

Yes, it does detect laser, but 99% of the time when you get a laser notification then they already have your speed. The only way to defend against that is to buy parking sensors like ALP. The detector that's known for having the most sensitive laser detection is the Valentine One, but even that will just be a ticket notifier if you were speeding.

Please try again later.I was on a trip to LA in this weekend, I have the Laser sound and signal going on several times in my round trip, I do not know for sure is something related to new cars or something else because was done even in a empty freeway . At least on my way back was less times not too much noise. Thank you.
