- Answer Hi there, Sammy! You can use the VP205 as a "shop-type" vacuum, but we recommend you use our fine-dust cartridge filter while using it for sanding. The blue cloth filter that comes with this unit will not protect the motor from the fine particles as well as the fine-dust cartridge filter will. - Answer VF48 is the replacement part catalog number listed in the manual for the auto vac. It says available from your Black and Decker dealer, not sure if Best Buy carries them. You can clean the filter with warm soapy water also.
