• Hi there, Sammy! You can use the VP205 as a "shop-type" vacuum, but we recommend you use our fine-dust cartridge filter while using it for sanding. The blue cloth filter that comes with this unit will not protect the motor from the fine particles as well as the fine-dust cartridge filter will.
