Can the rear camera be mounted on the exterior? null

I believe so. The user manual depicts it being installed on the exterior. It comes with a metal mounting bracket and screws, as well as double-sided tape. I used the tape to mount it to the inside rear window and hid the wiring in the interior roof trim.
