Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No grid lines but two angled lines from right and left that center at the end. The objects that display on dashcam mirror from the fixed simple focal lens rear camera are definitely CLOSER than they appear from a distance and are FARTHER when really close. You just have to get use to it. I can say other than having to adjust the time whenever it turns on this camera is GREAT. Just have Geek Squad install with the additional hardware piece recommended so that there won't be battery drain. I went and got a second one for my gf.
