“Does the backup and front camera have to be hardwired to record while the car is parked (Boston Accent lol)? Or will the cameras record while the car is parked if the device is plugged into the cars outlet?”

• Most dash cams need to be hard wired to the battery for the unit to operate while parked having a dash cam & not hard wiring it defeats the purpose

• It has to be hardwired into a slot in the fuse box that will constantly feed it power when the car is off to record while parked. The outlets are only powered when in accessory mode or running, so no power when you are not in it.
