The amount of time is dependent on the video capture compression ratio. The compression ratio is controlled by the software for the video capture device. An average compression of 9.7 Mbit/s will give approximately 120 minutes on a 8.5 Gb disc. If the average compression is lowered to 2.5 Mbit/s it will give approximately 480 minutes on a 8.5 Gb disc. The higher the compression the better the video quality.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.According to Verbatim a DVD+R DL disc will store about 4 hours of video.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on the recording quality and number of audio streams included. A straightforward high-quality DVD-Video stream with a single audio track would have about a 2 hour runtime on a DL disc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Delete my previous answer about the DVDs. There was a picture of a surge protector on my screen. DVD recording minutes vary widely depending on resolution of content. Can be from 15 minutes to 2 hours. Main measure is 8.5 GB of data, so look at your amount & how long it is on computer before coping to DVD.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. How many minutes what? A surge protector is not rated by minutes.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Dual-layer single-sided DVDs, like this Verbatim DVD+R DL, holds up to 8.5GB of date, or about 240 minutes of video (depending on compression).
