The dvd minus r which is in the orange pack is used for DVD players that are 2004 and older the blue pack or purple pack which is dvd plus R Us have less right errors and them they have about 24 extra minutes on it and are a better quality when burning
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If I’m not mistaken the orange pack has a printable label where as the purple has a writable label! I prefer the writable ones better the orange ones you have to buy a different dvd drive I think and software.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The purple are DVD+R and the orange are DVD-R discs. I have always had good luck with the DVD+R discs. I have never used the Verbatim - Life Series 16x DVD-R Discs.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I havent seen orange packs ,but they do sell printable label type discs,maybe thats the difference, the ones in the picture are for writing to disc and printing a separate label to attach

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.One is of the DVD-R type, while the other is of the DVD+R type. Functionally, there's no difference between them, as long as your DVD burner can read/write to both types of discs.
