Q: QuestionI'm interested in purchasing this device to work on an online class when I'm in locations without wifi. How much does the data plan cost? I will need internet for one month and I hope to connect for 2 hours a day, five days a week.

• A:Answer I bought these for use in a location that had lousy wired internet. Worked great (make sure you have a good cell signal - mine use Verizon) they have varing plans, but the $100 option gives me 60 days with 10Gb. You can get a month for less. It is a great tool!

• A:Answer I haven't tried myself but I don't see why not. It creates its own network so just as long as your printer and device you're printing from is connected it should work.

Q: QuestionWould this device work in Mexico and Dominican Republic?

• A:Answer not sure Verizon had coverage outside USA, you may have to purchase data plan in your destination country, I know that's how most cell companies work, you may have to get SIM card for that Countries service Verify with Verizon would be best and make sure to check the currency rates. Mark the sim cards with country code on back so you switch them as you change countries.

• A:Answer this device does have a USB port for plugin but I don't believe that it will work without wifi ability on your device. It actually acts as a WIFI hotspot or "access point" it does not provide Wi-Fi on the target device only acts as middle-man from device to internet. you can purchase a usb Wi-Fi dongle to give your device Wi-Fi ability then use this Device as your "access point/router" you connect to to get to the internet.

Q: QuestionDoes this access the Verizon network directly so you don't utilize your airtime data limits? I do this with a similar T-Mobile device with T-Mobile and don't use up my airtime data by going over my DSL service.

• A:Answer I have owned many mifi wireless hotspots and not one has worked while the device is plugged in nor were they supposed to work while plugged in. I doubt that this one would either.
