Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe so. Your location has nothing to do with the vehicles location being reported to Hum. Using the app on a smart phone, I don't believe you directly communicate with the vehicle. I believe it's communicating with Verizon Hum in the middle. I have personally checked a vehicle location when I was about 12 miles from it. Just keep in mind it may not work if the vehicle is in a tunnel or a parking garage where any communication with it may be blocked.
