“Is this device considered a MiFi. I travel a lot and need a dependable connection to access work when I am in weak areas or no WiFi is available. Will this do that for me?”

This device will work perfectly. It is very secure. We have used them for years taking it with us wherever we have traveled. I am sure you will be satisfied with the MIFI

The device we bought is being used in Eastern Texas were WiFi is sketchy. In an apartment (powers an Amazon stick), restaurant or out and about it has performed well. We use about 50 go a month and we feel it is more secure than public WiFi. Everyone has to evaluate its value, but it does free up your phone.

Yes it works fine. You can't get too far away from it is the only drawback
