I think the current "Free JBL Mod" promotion is only available for those who buy an unlocked Z Play directly from Motorola/Lenovo. When buying the Verizon version from Best Buy, you're actually saving enough money to buy two of the JBL Mods. Thus, I think Best Buy's current offers are a much better deal than Motorola's free JBL Mod promotion.
