- Answer I did. I think our numbers are tied to the sim card. That was switched in the store. Best Buy phone center has a device which they use to transfer everything from old phone to the new phone . I prefer to buy phones in a store rather than online.

- Answer I record videos, download music, take lots of pictures, and play a minimal amount of games. So to be on the safe side I ordered a 64 GB SD card. Because this phone has a 16 GB internal storage, and you will probably be downloading games, you will need more storage.

- Answer Amazon has cell phone cases for j7v second generation. You dont need the year. I just bought one for mine.

QuestionIs this VZ J7 phone a 3G or a 4G because it never switches into 4G mode even when I park next to a cell phone antenna like the ones that are decorated with palm tree branches. The signal strength bars all light up, but the data signal stays at 3G mode.

- Answer This is the second Samsung J7 2nd generation phone I have purchased from Best Buy in the past 18 months. I gave the first one to my grandson. But I have had no problem with 4G. As a matter of fact...even when its not on a call it shows 4G at the top in my status bar. Maybe you should go to you settings and make sure it is set to 4G or download your updates regularly.

- Answer With normal use battery can last couple days but with lots of streaming it may need charged a couple times a day. Ex: using hotspot, gaming or you tube drains battery.
