- Answer Yes you can but you need to select the right plan so make sure to choose the thr right Verizon plan. I'm on the $50 plan per month which includes unlimited talk and text 8n USA, Canada, and Mexico. If you need data this plan gives 8GB per month but if Verizon still has its special of opening a new line then they will give double data rate per month which is 16GB per month. If you need unlimited data the the $75 plan is what you want. As for activating the sim card the instructions are included and are very easy to follow.

- Answer Nope. If the phone is carrier locked then no unlocked sim cards are able to unlock it. You will need to get an unlocked phone. This is what I was forced to do was get an unlocked S9 due tug o my Moto Z2 Forced was locked to TMO and not movable to anyone else.
